Krista Detor Presents: Time Travels Annual Intergenerational Song & Story Extravaganza - a Benefit for Area 10 Agency on Aging's Endwright Center
Saturday, May 24, 2014

This intergenerational show is in its 3rd year and is the flagship performance event of the Creative Aging Festival in Bloomington, Indiana. Part of National Aging Month, the Creative Aging Festival seeks to re-connect Elders with their Community and the Community with its Elders.
In 2013, Krista Detor composed a choral piece with Elders at the Bell Trace Senior Community, which was featured at the Time Travels event. Grammy-winning Singer/Songwriter Carrie Newcomer joined them, as well as Award-winners Amanda Biggs & Janiece Jaffe, along with an intergenerational band and vocalists.

This Variety Show features local, regional, and national talent of all ages- among past acts: The Extraordinary Kenny White, Steampunk Roots Band Chimney Choir and Multi-Fringe Fest Award-winning Performance Artist, Nell Weatherwax.

The show has grown to sell-out capacity and 2014's Time Travels featured world-music performers of all ages, in song, story & dance, including Windfall Dancers Youth Troupe and Chicago travel author, Michael McColly.
The show is now the annual benefit performance for the Area 10 Agency on Aging's Endwright Center. 2015's May performance is right around the corner!
